Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust addresses one of India’s most pressing challenges—childhood malnutrition—by providing SaiSure, a fortified multinutrient health supplement, to government and rural school children every morning. The programme reaches over 10 million school-going children across 149,000 government schools in 25 states and 4 Union Territories, tackling not just hunger but hidden hunger and malnutrition while supporting children’s overall health, well-being, and educational outcomes.

The Trust maintains rigorous standards of quality, safety, and hygiene throughout programme delivery, working closely with schools and education departments to ensure smooth and effective implementation. Beyond nutrition, the programme monitors children’s health, well-being, and school attendance to measure impact, while conducting regular awareness sessions on nutrition, hygiene, and holistic well-being for students. Robust data tracking, reporting, and impact assessment systems drive continuous improvement across all operations.
