Active since: 2016
One World One Family Mission is active in Australia through the One World One Family Mission Australia (formerly Heart of Love Foundation) and Health In Kind Foundation, supporting communities through nutrition, education, healthcare and community service. The organisations work with children, families, refugees, Indigenous communities and others experiencing hardship, combining practical assistance with education, health and wellbeing initiatives.
How we serve
Here are a few ways in which we serve
Nutrition

Through the Feed the World initiative, volunteers provide food support to families and individuals experiencing hardship. Initiatives include school breakfast programmes, grocery assistance, ration packs and food hampers, as well as freshly cooked meals for people in need.
Education

Through the Value Educate the World programme, weekly values-based classes are provided for children aged 4 to 16, drawing on the Do Good, Be Good, See Good books. Workshops, conferences and training programmes also support teachers, parents and educators.
A weekly After School Youth Group brings children together to develop practical life skills, including cooking, creative activities and self-confidence, alongside opportunities to learn and grow through community.
Health

Healthcare outreach provides health education and practical assistance to school children, refugees and residents of women's refuges. Services include general health checks, dental checks and treatment, as well as health and wellbeing workshops.
Health In Kind Foundation provides general medical and allied health screening and consultations, dental care, mental health support, group health education and wellbeing programmes through qualified medical, dental and allied health professionals who volunteer their time.
Australian nurses also travel to Fiji to participate in surgical missions and provide training to local healthcare teams, extending the Mission's healthcare service beyond Australia.
Community Support

Community support responds to practical needs, including assistance following natural disasters. After major flooding, Foundation members provided essential household appliances to families who had lost their homes and belongings.
Free psychological services are also provided to community members who are unable to afford specialist support, helping address mental health and wellbeing needs.
