Educates an orphaned child for a month

One World One Family Mission is active in Belarus through a dedicated group of volunteers, bringing warmth, care and hope to children and families in need through education, community activities and practical support.
Here are a few ways in which we serve

Volunteers visit schools and shelters throughout the year, working with orphans and children at risk. Sessions combine a story-led lesson, group activities and study support, with small celebrations held on festive days. Through these activities, volunteers encourage children to develop positive values while also supporting their learning and wellbeing.

Camps run throughout the year in Vitebsk, Orsha and Shumilino for groups of 40–140 children. A typical day moves from icebreakers and a values circle, to games, crafts, quiet time and a short closing circle. Events held at centres for pupils with hearing impairments use sign-supported stories, visual games and rhythm.
Volunteers also organise events at centres supporting pupils with hearing impairments, using sign-supported stories, visual games and rhythm-based activities. Children's homes receive practical and recreational support, including puppet shows, diapers and toys.
