Educates an orphaned child for a month

Active since: 2025
One World One Family Mission is active in Burkina Faso through a developing partnership supporting children and the wider community in Bobo-Dioulasso. The work focuses on improving access to nutrition and education while creating a safer, more supportive environment for children to learn, grow and develop.
Here are a few ways in which we serve

Through the Feed the World initiative, the project provides nutritious meals to children at Bolomakote School in Bobo-Dioulasso. The programme aims to ensure that children have access to a healthy meal during the school day, supporting their wellbeing and ability to learn.
The school project is also developing the facilities needed to support the nutrition programme, including a kitchen and secure food storage.

The project supports Bolomakote School by improving the facilities and resources available to students, helping create a more dignified and supportive learning environment. Current development includes strengthening school infrastructure, with longer-term plans for a library, sports activities, sustainable school cultivation and spaces for arts and music.
The project also aims to nurture cultural identity and confidence through traditional arts, music and creative learning, giving children opportunities to explore different ways of learning and expressing themselves.
A developing local initiative supports the Mission's work in Burkina Faso.

Faso Deme Bagaou is a community project based in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, created by artist and educator Koroleko Moussa to support education, culture and community wellbeing. The project works with Bolomakote School to strengthen essential conditions for learning while developing longer-term opportunities in education, cultural expression and community self-sufficiency.
