One World One Family Mission is active in El Salvador through a dedicated group of local volunteers who support vulnerable and homeless people with care, dignity and compassion. Their work focuses on providing practical support and a safe, welcoming environment for elderly people who have experienced homelessness.
Here are a few ways in which we serve

In San Salvador, volunteers support the Divina Misericordia shelter, which provides care and a safe place to stay for elderly people who have experienced homelessness. The shelter offers daily meals, accommodation and access to showers, helping people meet their basic needs in a safe and dignified environment.
The team also provides additional support including regular community meals, haircuts and basic medical assistance. Through these services, volunteers offer more than practical help. They create a welcoming environment where people are treated with kindness, respect and human dignity.

Through regular meal services, volunteers provide nutritious lunches to people experiencing homelessness and hardship. Meals are prepared and served with care, helping ensure that people in need have access to food in a welcoming and dignified environment.
