Educates an orphaned child for a month

One World One Family Mission is active in Germany through the One World One Family Association Germany and local volunteers, supporting communities through education, nutrition and practical care for people experiencing hardship.
Here are a few ways in which we serve

Volunteers support children through educational and values-based activities. In East Germany, volunteers support a local elementary school with English, German and Mathematics. Children's activities also include gardening, making plant-based products, art projects and learning about human values.
Through the Value Educating the World programme, volunteers and Uvacha Translations support the translation of values education books for students and handbooks for teachers.
Through the Feed the World initiative, volunteers regularly prepare and distribute meals to people experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. In Munich, volunteers also work with Aktion Brücke to provide meals to homeless people, people struggling with addiction and older people experiencing financial hardship.
Food support is also provided to elderly and vulnerable people as part of the wider community outreach.

Volunteers provide regular support to elderly and disabled people through cooked meals, visits, companionship, grocery shopping and assistance with medical appointments.
Volunteers also visit nursing homes, bringing music and songs to create opportunities for connection and joy. The wider community work includes fundraising to support children experiencing hunger in Palestine.
Volunteers and the One World One Family Association Germany support the Mission's work in Germany.
