Each month in Aldea El Orégano, volunteers deliver food parcels containing essential items such as rice, beans, pasta and milk to families experiencing hardship. Support is directed towards single mothers, women with limited incomes and elderly people, including families whose livelihoods depend on agriculture, domestic work and waste sorting.

Nutrition support also extends to the local school, where potatoes and plantains are provided to strengthen school breakfasts. By helping families meet basic nutritional needs and supporting school meals, the initiative helps create better conditions for children to attend school and focus on their learning.

Education support in El Orégano includes repairing and improving damaged school desks at the local El Orégano School. In a setting where classrooms may combine different grade levels and resources are limited, these practical improvements help create a more suitable environment for children to learn.

The Mission's support complements the community's efforts to ensure that children have access to a safe and dignified place to study and participate in school.
