One World One Family Mission is active in Indonesia through One World One Family Indonesia, bringing together volunteers and community initiatives that support nutrition, education, healthcare and community wellbeing. In Bali, the Mission’s work supports children, elderly residents and marginalised communities through practical service, education and care.
Here are a few ways in which we serve

Through the School Breakfast and Feed the World initiatives, volunteers provide nutritious meals and groceries to children and families in need. At Sidan Elementary in Bali, schoolchildren receive free nutritious meals, helping support their wellbeing and enabling them to focus on their studies. Nutritious meals are also provided to elderly residents in nursing homes and people experiencing homelessness or living on the streets, helping ensure that vulnerable members of the community receive nourishment with dignity and care.

Through the Value Educate the World programme, values education books for students and handbooks for teachers are translated into local languages. Children in Bali also participate in regular values-based learning activities, where they explore qualities such as kindness and integrity and learn how to apply them in everyday life. These activities help nurture positive character alongside academic learning.

Healthcare initiatives support elderly residents and vulnerable communities through health education, free health check-ups, medicines and consultations. Health education sessions encourage older people to take an active role in their wellbeing and self-care. Blood donation drives also bring the wider community together to support those in need of lifesaving medical care.

Community initiatives also support the preservation of Balinese culture and provide opportunities for children and young people to develop confidence and creativity. Through training in traditional arts such as gamelan, drama and dance, children and youth can engage with their cultural heritage while developing skills and expressing themselves.
