One World One Family Mission is active in Kazakhstan through Общественный фонд «САИ» (Public Foundation “SAI”), bringing together volunteers to support people and families experiencing hardship through nutrition, education and community service. Its work combines practical assistance with values-based education, helping people meet their basic needs while creating a sense of dignity, care and community.
Here are a few ways in which we serve

Through the Feed the World initiative, volunteers provide food and practical assistance to people experiencing hardship. In Almaty, volunteers gather every Sunday near the Cathedral and Mosque to distribute meals including sandwiches, biscuits, sweets and hot tea. These weekly gatherings provide nourishment while creating a welcoming space where people can connect and feel cared for.
Volunteers also work with the Sources of Goodness Foundation to prepare and serve hot vegetarian meals to residents of a rehabilitation centre for people experiencing homelessness and other challenges.
Food and hygiene products are also provided to single and widowed mothers and their families. This ongoing support offers stability and relief during difficult circumstances and has helped families move towards more secure living conditions and opportunities for their children.

Through the Value Educating the World programme, values education books for students and handbooks for teachers are translated and made accessible to learners and educators.
Education in Human Values (EHV) initiatives support children, families, students, teachers and psychologists. Volunteers organise gatherings with families they support where children take part in discussions and activities focused on kindness, responsibility and respect.
In the Turkestan region, EHV seminars have been organised for students, teachers and school and college psychologists, including practical sessions exploring the spiritual heritage of prominent Kazakh teachers and philosophers.
In collaboration with the Kazakh National Pedagogical University, original psychological fairy tales based on universal human values have been developed, alongside professional development programmes for teachers, social educators and psychologists.

Community support focuses particularly on families experiencing hardship. Volunteers provide ongoing assistance to single and widowed mothers and their children through food, hygiene products and other practical support.
The Foundation also brings families and volunteers together through gatherings and activities that strengthen relationships and create opportunities for children to learn and grow. Over time, this support has helped families improve their living conditions, while their children have continued their education and progressed to university.

Public Foundation "SAI" is a community-focused organisation working to create a compassionate and supportive society where people experiencing hardship can access essential food and care. Its work focuses on supporting vulnerable individuals and families, including low-income families, elderly people, people with disabilities and those facing difficult life circumstances.
The Foundation's volunteers provide food assistance to people experiencing homelessness and hardship in Almaty and Astana, while also supporting single mothers with food and hygiene products. Its work combines practical assistance with a wider commitment to compassion, dignity and community service.
