Educates an orphaned child for a month

Active since: November 2015
One World One Family Mission is active in Malaysia through two separate member organisations: Sai Ananda Foundation Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur and Divine Will Society Kuching in Sarawak. Each organisation carries out its own programmes in its respective region, supporting underserved communities through healthcare, education, nutrition and community service.
Here are a few ways in which we serve

In Kuala Lumpur, Sai Ananda Foundation Malaysia provides free healthcare through its Hemodialysis Centre, Dental Clinic and General Clinic and Pharmacy. The Hemodialysis Centre provides free treatment three times a week for people with end-stage renal failure. The Dental Clinic provides treatment and preventive dental care, including health education and dietary advice for children and parents.
The General Clinic and Pharmacy provides medical consultations, treatment and medication, with volunteer doctors also referring patients to hospitals when required. Through Medicare Outreach, the medical team conducts home visits for people unable to travel and medical camps in rural areas, bringing basic healthcare and health education to communities with limited access to care.
Sai Ananda also provides medical aid such as spectacles, wheelchairs and walking frames, as well as assistance with transport, medical procedures and hospital visits.
In Kuching and across East Malaysia, Divine Will Society conducts regular medical outreach camps and operates a mobile community clinic to bring free basic healthcare to vulnerable rural communities. Its 10-bed not-for-profit dialysis centre, inaugurated in October 2024, provides essential dialysis treatment to people in need.

In Kuala Lumpur, Sai Ananda Foundation Malaysia provides early education for underprivileged children through its Early Education Centre, combining the Malaysian preschool syllabus with human values and life skills. Its Tutorial Centre provides school-going children with homework support, revision, extracurricular activities and Human Values lessons, alongside meals and a supportive learning environment.
A separate Refugee Education Centre provides education for displaced children, combining the Malaysian preschool curriculum with arts, music, life skills and other learning opportunities.
Children from the education centres also take part in co-curricular activities including yoga, aerobics, music, computer classes, dance and physical activities. Teenagers participate in values education classes focused on qualities such as honesty, kindness, compassion and right conduct.
Through the Value Educating the World programme, values education books for students and handbooks for teachers are translated.

In Kuala Lumpur, Sai Ananda Foundation Malaysia provides food assistance through its Feed the World initiatives. Provision packs containing essential dry rations are distributed to low-income families, while freshly prepared vegetarian meals are provided daily to people experiencing hardship, including elderly and disabled beneficiaries.
Meals are also provided to children attending the Tutorial Centre and Early Education Centre, supporting their learning and development.
In Kuching and East Malaysia, Divine Will Society includes free food delivery among its community service activities, providing practical support to people in need.

In Kuala Lumpur, Sai Ananda Foundation Malaysia supports single mothers and grandmothers through baking and sewing lessons, helping them develop practical skills that can create opportunities for income and greater independence.
The Foundation also provides living allowances to people who are unable to work, including elderly people living alone and people with disabilities. Welfare assistance includes essential household and personal items, helping vulnerable individuals and families meet basic needs with dignity.
Free school transport is also provided for children attending the Sai Ananda education centres, helping ensure that lack of transport does not become a barrier to education.
In Kuching and across East Malaysia, Divine Will Society provides practical assistance including wheelchairs, commode chairs, walking sticks and hospital beds. Its community services also include blood donation drives.
Two separate member organisations support the Mission's work in Malaysia, serving different regions of the country.

Established in 1992, Sai Ananda Foundation Malaysia is a non-profit charity that carries out its activities through voluntary selfless service to people in need. It began as a small Sunday values class at Kampung Laksamana and has grown into a social service centre serving communities in the Kuala Lumpur area.
Its work includes free healthcare, education, nutrition and community support, with programmes for children, refugees, elderly people, people with disabilities, single mothers and families experiencing hardship.

Divine Will Society Kuching was established in November 2015 as a non-profit society dedicated to improving healthcare access and wellbeing in rural communities in Sarawak and East Malaysia. The Society also provides practical community support and operates Vishwa Niketanam in Kuching as a centre for spiritual development, values-based living and charitable outreach.
Centres for Human Development
Malaysia is home to two Centres for Human Development, each connected with the work of the Mission in its respective region.
Sri Sathya Sai Anand Ashram is a peaceful Centre for Human Development in Janda Baik, Pahang, nestled in the green hills of Malaysia. The Ashram provides a space for inner growth, quiet reflection and community gatherings.
Working closely with Sai Ananda Foundation Malaysia, the centre supports human values and community welfare. It also hosts transformative youth programmes, including the “i to I – instinct to Intuition” youth retreat, and supports educational and social welfare activities connected with the Sai Ananda network.
Vishwa Niketanam (Universal Home Ashram) in Kuching, Sarawak, was inaugurated in August 2019 and serves as a centre for spiritual development and charitable outreach.
The centre brings together people from different cultures, nationalities and backgrounds and hosts periodic spiritual workshops focused on values-based living. It also supports the community service activities of Divine Will Society.
The One World Cafe at Vishwa Niketanam reflects the centre’s social mission and supports the activities of Divine Will Society.
