Educates an orphaned child for a month
One World One Family Mission is active in Türkiye through Karşılıksız Hizmet Vakfı (Selfless Service Trust) and Prema Publishing, offering nutrition, education and community support to those in need. The work in Türkiye began with a small group of volunteers dedicated to selfless service, and has grown to include regular meal distribution, family support, animal care and values-based education.
How we serve
Here are a few ways in which we serve
Nutrition
Through the Feed the World initiative, cooked meals are distributed free of charge to the needy. Families in several districts of Istanbul receive regular food support, and volunteers also distribute meals on an individual basis to marginalised individuals across the city. During freezing winters, additional support such as charcoal and firewood is provided to help underprivileged households stay warm.
Education
Through the Value Educate the World programme, in collaboration with Uvacha Translations, values education books for students and handbooks for teachers are translated into Turkish and made available to schools and educators. Prema Publishing, working with Uvacha Translations, also translates and publishes literature in Turkish, making these resources accessible to Turkish-speaking readers.
Community Support
Animal care is one of the distinctive features of the Trust's work in Türkiye: dogs, cats, birds, horses and any animal in need are provided with food, water, medicines and veterinary care.
Support is provided to marginalised families and individuals in need, including assistance with medical bills, utility bills and, in some cases, house rents. Based on the need, clothes, shoes, books and other essential items are also distributed.

Karşılıksız Hizmet Vakfı (Selfless Service Trust)
Karşılıksız Hizmet Vakfı (Selfless Service Trust) was established in 1996 as a charitable foundation in Türkiye. It supports the Mission's work through ongoing service projects in nutrition, community support, animal care and spiritual education.
Prema Publishing (Publications)
Prema Publishing (Publications) supports the translation and publication of spiritual and values-based literature in Turkish, working in collaboration with Uvacha Translations. Through this work, it contributes to the Mission's education and values-based learning initiatives in Türkiye and beyond.
Additional Information
Centre for Human Development
Prema Yoga Centre for Human Development was inaugurated in Istanbul in 2019, with the vision of offering yoga, meditation, human values workshops and community gatherings. While the physical centre is in progress, the activities and vision of the centre continue in adapted forms, including online sessions and community events.
