One World One Family Mission is active in the United Kingdom through Anugraham Charitable Trust UK, with support from partner organisation Vidya Jyoti UK. They offer nutrition, education, healthcare and community support, both locally and in support of international programmes. Through consistent weekly meal distribution and foodbank donations, the Mission provides ongoing support to homeless and vulnerable individuals across the country.

How we serve

Here are a few ways in which we serve

Nutrition

Through the Feed the World initiative, the homeless and needy are fed free of charge on a weekly basis. In the UK, weekly food service initiatives provide hot meals and food support to the homeless and other individuals in need, alongside regular donations to local foodbanks. Support is also extended to the Annapoorna Morning Nutrition Programme in India, helping children from underserved backgrounds begin their school day with nutrition that enhances health, concentration and attendance. In partnership with the Annapoorna Trust, Vidya Jyoti supports morning nutrition for thousands of children in Telangana and West Bengal, and is working to extend this to Cambodia.

Education

Through the Value Educate the World programme, values education books for students and handbooks for teachers are translated. Education initiatives include the adaptation of human values books for British audiences. The UK has also contributed to the Each One Educate One programme in India since its inception, supporting the establishment and growth of the Sharadaniketanam campus in Mandya.

Health

Healthcare support extends internationally, including contributions to establish the Cath Lab at the Sanjeevani Hospital in Sri Lanka, support for the medical college in Muddenahalli, India, aid in the development of the new 600-bed hospital, and many other humanitarian projects.

Community Support

Community support initiatives include collaborations with Age Link UK to support Sunday lunches, Christmas gatherings and seasonal gift-giving for elderly individuals, with volunteers visiting care homes to offer companionship and help alleviate loneliness. Community care extends beyond borders, with emergency relief offered to earthquake victims in Nepal, asylum seekers on the island of Lesbos, and children at Joy Village in Nigeria. Service efforts in the United Kingdom are strengthened through collaborations with Age Link UK, the Rotary Club, the Association of Hindu Organisations UK, social services and local foodbanks, extending reach and deepening community impact.

Through its work in rural communities across Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Cambodia, India and the UK, Vidya Jyoti contributes to water, healthcare, education, ICT, nutrition and disability empowerment initiatives.
