Seva as a Way of Living

Seva has always been my favourite spiritual practice. It fills me with joy and a deep sense of wholeness. Through my journey of service and my involvement in the One World One Family Mission, I have learnt that when I serve others, I forget myself and open my heart to something greater. I feel truly grateful to serve through our Seva centre in Greece and to be part of this beautiful movement of compassion.

For me, seva means helping others without expecting anything in return. It is not something we do only for a few hours each week, slowly, I have come to understand that it is a way of living. Even silently sending good thoughts is service, because every small act of kindness matters.

A Lesson in a Parking Lot

In recent months, my service journey within the One World One Family Mission helped me understand something very profound every person we meet reflects something within us. I first realised this two years ago during a small car accident. I was anxious and rushing my son to school when I reversed into another car. I expected anger from the other driver, but instead he responded with calmness and kindness. That moment became a lesson for me. Through my reflections and my journey in the One World One Family Mission, I understood that life is always guiding us through people and situations, helping us grow.

Taking Responsibility for Our Reactions

There are times when I feel stress or anger, and again I see my reactions reflected in the world around me. Through the values taught by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai and lived through the One World One Family Mission, I have learnt to take responsibility for my own reactions rather than blaming others. When we forget, life reminds us through new experiences and challenges.

Transformation as a Daily Commitment

Transformation is not a one-time event; it is a daily commitment. It happens each time we choose patience over anger, forgiveness over resentment, and love over fear. Every small victory becomes a step towards inner freedom, and every missed opportunity becomes a lesson for growth.

Over time, I have realised that true peace and strength come from our divine self. Everything else slowly drains us. Through this journey of service, we are reminded to invest in our inner growth and awaken to our divinity not only for ourselves but for all humanity. Being part of the One World One Family Mission has deepened my understanding that we are all connected and responsible for one another.

The Quiet Magic of Living With Love

Today, I continue this path with gratitude and humility. Guided by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, I strive to do my inner work while serving others with sincerity. Yes, I make mistakes, but each time I rise stronger and wiser. And through this ongoing journey of seva, I have begun to see the quiet magic and miracles that unfold when we live with love, awareness, and faith.
