About
Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust is an India-based humanitarian organisation founded in 2015, dedicated to ensuring that no child goes to school hungry. Rooted in the values of Gramodharana and Gramaparivartan, Rural Uplift and Rural Transformation, the Trust invests in children and communities through three pillars: Anna (nutrition), Akshara (education), and Arogya (health).
As a key entity within the One World One Family Mission, the Trust operates the Morning Nutrition Programme, delivering SaiSure, a fortified multinutrient health supplement, to government school children across India every single day.
Reach & Impact
The scale of the Annapoorna programme is significant. Every day, more than 10 million school-going children receive morning nutrition across 149,000 government schools, spanning 25 states and 4 Union Territories throughout India.
Beyond addressing immediate hunger, the programme targets hidden hunger and malnutrition, nutritional deficiencies that are invisible but deeply affect children’s cognitive development, health, and ability to learn. The Trust actively monitors children’s health, well-being, and school attendance to assess the real-world impact of its work.

What We Do
Morning Nutrition Programme
At the heart of the Trust’s work is the daily delivery of SaiSure, a fortified multinutrient health supplement, to children in government and rural schools before the school day begins. The programme is designed to close the nutritional gap that many children face before they can focus, learn, and grow.
Community & Awareness
The Trust runs regular nutrition, hygiene, and well-being awareness sessions for students, helping children build healthy habits that extend beyond the classroom. Volunteers, parents, and local communities are actively engaged in programme activities and outreach, creating a network of care around each child.
School & Government Collaboration
Implementation is carried out in close collaboration with schools and state education departments, ensuring the programme integrates smoothly into existing structures. This partnership approach allows the Trust to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene across a vast and diverse geography.
Operations & Distribution
Managing logistics at this scale requires a robust operational backbone. The Trust oversees procurement, supply distribution, and delivery coordination across all regions, ensuring consistent and timely delivery. Data tracking, reporting, and impact assessment are built into the process for continuous improvement.
Partnerships & Funding
The Trust works closely with government bodies, CSR partners, and donors to expand its reach and ensure long-term sustainability. These partnerships are central to scaling the programme and deepening its impact in underserved communities.
