Rooted in Values From Childhood
My name is Suganya. I am originally from Chennai and now live in Sharjah, UAE, where I work as a medical coder at Medcare Hospitals in Dubai. I was raised in a family deeply rooted in spiritual values inspired by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. From the age of six, the message ‘Love All, Serve All’ shaped my understanding of life and awakened in me the joy of serving others.
Finding a Path Through Sahayam
After moving to the UAE, I found my path through Sahayam, a service group named by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, and became part of the One World One Family Mission. Volunteering transformed my perspective on life. Distributing Iftar meals during Ramadan allowed me to experience unity beyond religion and nationality. Supporting women in labour camps through essential supplies was not only about giving materials, it was about building relationships, listening with empathy, and restoring dignity.
Seeing the Divine in Everyone
Through Sadguru’s teachings, I realised that true service is selfless and spiritual. I began to see divinity in everyone the workers in labour camps, the individuals striving to support their families, and the many silent contributors to society. Service became not just an activity but a path of inner growth, guided by values such as humility, faith, gratitude, and compassion.
One Family, Across Borders
The COVID-19 pandemic reminded me that humanity is one family beyond borders. This understanding strengthened my commitment to the One World One Family Mission. My journey has also inspired my son to walk a path of service and values, making this transformation deeply personal for our entire family.
Today, I continue serving with gratitude and faith. I believe that when we serve with love and sincerity, we grow together as One World, One Family united by compassion, shared responsibility, and collective progress.
